Position Overview:
As a Journeyman Plumber with PJ’s, you will bring your expertise to our projects, contributing to the successful execution of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. Your years of experience and comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute plumbing projects
- Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas lines
- Lead plumbing projects, coordinating with team members and overseeing work progress
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues using advanced problem-solving skills
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks effectively
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice plumbers and junior staff
- Maintain a neat and organized work environment
- Communicate professionally with clients, addressing their concerns and providing expert advice
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber in residential and commercial settings
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
